Tournament Destination for Aspiring Athletes and their Families
LaBella designed a state-of-the-art athletic facility at Carowinds in Charlotte, aimed at enhancing the overall guest experience and promoting wellness. The project features ten multi-purpose indoor courts, designed to accommodate a variety of sports and activities. To support athletes and visitors, the facility includes men’s and women’s locker rooms, dedicated coaches’ offices, and a fully equipped cardio-weight room. Wellness is a key focus, with designated classrooms for fitness and health education, as well as dance studios to foster creativity and movement. The sports medicine and rehabilitation area are integrated to provide essential support for athletes, while the strength and conditioning spaces are tailored for optimal performance training.
Additionally, the facility incorporates hotel accommodations, retail shops, and restaurants, ensuring that guests have everything they need for a complete and enriching experience. This comprehensive design not only promotes athleticism but also creates a vibrant community hub within Carowinds.
