On September 17, 2024, LaBella and Charlotte-Mecklenburg Storm Water Services were honored to accept the 2024 APWA-NC Stormwater Project of the Year Award for the Lyon Court Storm Drainage Improvement Project.
The APWA-NC Stormwater Project of the Year aims to promote excellence in the implementation of stormwater projects in North Carolina by recognizing the alliances between project owners, consultants, suppliers, and contractors that result in successful stormwater management improvement projects.

On November 14, 2024, LaBella was honored to accept the 2025 ACEC/NC Grand Finalist Award for Engineering Excellence – Water and Environment for the Lyon Court Storm Drainage Improvement Project.
