Breaking Ground on the New Advanced Technology Center at Monroe Community College

Monroe Community College takes a monumental step forward in workforce development and hands-on education for the Rochester, New York region.

LaBella is proud to celebrate the groundbreaking of the Monroe Community College Advanced Technology Center—a state-of-the-art, 110,000-square-foot addition to the Brighton Campus that will transform how MCC trains students in high-demand technical fields.

As the provider of architectural, interior design, and structural engineering services, LaBella is honored to help bring this $70 million vision to life. Designed with purpose and transparency, this expansion will unify the HVAC, tooling and machining, and automotive programs from an offsite location while also providing expanded space for the college’s renowned optics program.

Expected to open its doors in fall 2026, the Advanced Technology Center will be a place where students don’t just study—they build the future.
