Mike Carr Appointed to the NYSDEC’s Petroleum Bulk Storage Advisory Council

Michael Carr, PG, CPG, Managing Geologist for the Environmental division in our Ballston Spa, NY office, was recently appointed to the New York State Department of Environmental Conservation’s (NYSDEC) Petroleum Bulk Storage Advisory Council. This council advises the NYSDEC on the proposal, preparation, and revision of the rules and regulations regarding petroleum bulk storage. Council members have professional training or experience to analyze and interpret content of the PBS regulations. The Council meets regularly to assist with the drafting of new regulations. Members of the Council serve without compensation.
