Derik Kane Receives AICP Certification

Congratulations are in order for Derik Kane, AICP, CNUa who earned his AICP Certification from the American Institute of Certified Planners! AICP Certification is the only nationwide, independent verification of planners’ qualifications which entails meeting education, experience, and examination requirements.

Derik has over 8 years of planning experience with a range of work which includes: business development & downtown revitalization, municipal comprehensive planning, smart growth/new urbanism, and agricultural & farmland protection. Derik joined the LaBella team in October of 2019 and is currently working on projects which involve the Batavia City Centre Mall Revitalization Study, the Bethlehem Steel-Woodlawn Beach Shoreline Trail Extension, and the Buffalo East Side Commercial District Program.
