Two members of LaBella’s Planning Group will be representing the firm at the New York Planning Federation’s 83rd Annual Conference being held on April 7-9, 2024, in Saratoga Springs, New York.
On Monday, April 8th at 9:45 a.m., Norabelle Greenberger, AICP, will be participating in a panel discussion on “Revitalizing Our Downtowns: Strategies, Funding Frontiers, and Lessons Learned.” This session will delve into the multifaceted approaches municipal leaders from across New York have used in spearheading downtown revitalization, the innovative funding opportunities that have fueled these transformations, and lessons learned along the way.
On, Tuesday, April 9th at 8:30 a.m., Derik Kane, AICP, CNUa, will be giving a presentation titled “Omnichannel Retail Impacts on New York Communities,” which will explore the ever-evolving concept of omnichannel retail and how these new consumer habits are having an immense impact on local zoning, planning, transportation, and other development patterns throughout New York.
