LaBella Participating in Panel Discussions at APWA North Carolina Chapter’s 2024 Solid Waste Division Conference

Several members of LaBella’s Waste & Recycling group will be participating in panel discussions at the 2024 Solid Waste Division Conference, hosted by the American Public Works Association North Carolina Chapter. The conference will take place from August 6–8, 2024, in Atlantic Beach, North Carolina. This year’s theme, “Voices from the Field: Insights into the Daily Challenges and Successes of Waste Management Professionals,” will explore the real-world experiences of those in the industry.

On Wednesday, August 7th, at 10:30 a.m., Training Program Manager Jeff Fantell, PE, will take part in a panel discussion titled “Placing the Rungs: Utilizing Career Ladders in the Solid Waste Industry.”

Later that day, at 12:45 p.m., Sustainability Manager Crystal Stapley (left) will participate in a panel discussion titled “Women in Solid Waste.” This session will be moderated by Kristie Hooper (right), LaBella’s Director of Business Development for Waste & Recycling.
