LaBella’s Senior Planner Wes Pettee, AICP, and GIS Professional Sara LoBello will be speaking at the Western New York Stormwater Conference on Tuesday, March 31, 2026, in Buffalo, New York. The event is hosted by the Western New York Stormwater Coalition, a partnership of 42 municipalities in Erie and Niagara counties working together to meet the United States Environmental Protection Agency’s Phase II stormwater regulations.
Join Wes and Sara at 10:00 a.m. for their presentation “Using GIS to Strengthen Local Stormwater Management: A Case Study from the Town of Victor, NY.”
To improve stormwater management and maintain accurate, up-to-date infrastructure records, the Town of Victor launched a comprehensive GIS initiative developed in collaboration with LaBella. The project established a centralized GIS database that integrates GPS field data and as-built utility information, along with an interactive web map that allows staff to access and update data both in the office and in the field.
This case study demonstrates how interactive web mapping and digital inspection tools can streamline field data collection, support regulatory compliance, and enable data-driven stormwater management.
