State Street Reconstruction

State Street, from Basin Street to the Inner Loop in the City of Rochester, New York, averages daily traffic of 18,000 vehicles. The City requested transportation engineering services for the reconstruction of this principal arterial. The project evaluated and reconstructed a 0.3-mile section of one of the most heavily traveled roadways within the City’s downtown business core. The roadway required upgrades to restore its pavement structure and provide appropriate and modern accommodations for bicyclists, pedestrians, and parking.

Wayne County EMS Ambulance Base Headquarters

After a study found slow response times to emergency calls and a decline in volunteer services, Wayne County chose to provide and run their own full EMS service. LaBella provided full architectural and engineering services for the design and construction of a modern, single-story, 11,900 sq. ft. EMS ambulance base on the Wayne County Campus in Lyons, NY, that now serves as the systems headquarters.
