Wendy Talarico to Present on 2025 New York State Energy Code Updates at the Capital District’s Annual E-Week
Wendy Talarico, LEED AP, NYS CEO, LaBella’s Senior Building Code Consultant, will present at the Capital District’s 46th Annual E-Week, taking place February 12–13, 2026, in Albany, New York.
On Friday, February 13th, at 1:30 p.m., Wendy will present “A Quick Look at the Sweeping Changes to the New 2025 NYS Energy Code.” The session will explore updates to the newly adopted New York State Energy Code, including changes to requirements for fossil fuel use, insulation, thermal bridging, HVAC efficiency, and lighting controls. The presentation will focus on how these updates may impact projects across New York City and New York State.
Sponsored by the New York State Society of Professional Engineers, the Capital District’s E-Week is an annual two-day event that brings together engineers from all disciplines to promote learning, support engineering education, and raise awareness of the profession. The event features multiple seminars, with proceeds benefitting engineering student activities throughout the region.
