LaBella Wins Best Meal Award at 2025 CANstruction Charlotte Ceremony

Over 3,000 cans of food will be donated to Second Harvest Food Bank of Metrolina.

This April, LaBella’s Charlotte office once again found itself in the winner’s circle at the 2025 CANstruction Charlotte competition and donated over 3,000 canned food items to Second Harvest Food Bank of Metrolina!

LaBella’s design, “Mascot Munch,” featured five giant PEZ dispensers representing each of Charlotte’s professional sports team mascots: Sir Minty of the Charlotte Football Club, Hugo of the Charlotte Hornets, Sir Purr of the Carolina Panthers, Chubby of the Charlotte Checkers, and Homer of the Charlotte Knights. These impressive structures stood nearly 10 feet tall!

The exhibit was on display at Founders Hall until April 17th, where visitors viewed and voted on the structures. Teams were judged in categories such as Best Use of Labels, Structural Ingenuity, Best Meal, Jurors’ Favorite, and People’s Choice.

LaBella’s structure earned the Best Meal Award for its creative design structure and well-balanced selection of food items. Congratulations to the entire team!
