4237 Raleigh Street

This project, now home to the Charlotte Art League and the Independent Picture House (formerly the Manor Theater), took an underutilized industrial building and transformed it into a catalyst for an arts and entertainment district now known as The Shed. A short walk from the CATS Blue Line Sugar Creek Station and directly across the street from the Blackbox Theater music venue, The Shed is the first of numerous multi-family, restaurant, and retail developments planned for the neighborhood. This district will serve as the upper end of the NoDa District expanding the footprint of Charlotte’s most creative and dynamic neighborhood.
