University of Rochester River Campus PBS Compliance
Sustaining Campus Mobility through PBS Compliance
LaBella contracted with the University of Rochester to provide Petroleum Bulk Storage (PBS) compliance services associated with ten (10) underground petroleum storage tanks and fifteen (15) aboveground petroleum storage tanks, located at multiple buildings at the River Campus facility. The project included conducting annual & triennial tank inspections and testing to verify and maintain compliance with USEPA and NYSDEC code requirements, aiding with PBS regulatory compliance inspections, and conducting fueling system code compliance repairs and upgrades, as warranted.
In addition, LaBella provided on-call maintenance services for the River Campus fleet fueling systems, which supplies fuel for up to 500 University vehicles.
Through all these processes, LaBella maintained a close relationship with the various tank operators and checked in regularly with representatives from the NYS Department of Environmental Conservation to ensure that all petroleum bulk storage compliance requirements were satisfied.
LaBella continues to provide fueling system services to the University to ensure continuous code compliance and proper operation of the facilities’ fueling systems infrastructure.
