Southeast Environmental Lunch & Learn Series

Join LaBella for a Virtual Lunch & Learn That Explores Redeveloping and Maintaining Brownfield Properties

Ever wondered, “What is a brownfield property?”

Join this virtual lunch and learn, moderated by brownfield expert Dawn Crowell, to understand not only what a brownfield property is, but also how to safely develop and maintain one.

Presenters from the North Carolina Department of Environmental Quality (NC DEQ) Brownfields Redevelopment Section—Stephanie Hempel, PG and Joselyn Harriger, PG—will review the process from beginning to end for obtaining a Brownfields Agreement. From there, you’ll learn how to properly maintain a brownfield property. The session concludes with an interactive component that will include information, tips, and suggestions on how to avoid common pitfalls in property management.
