LaBella’s Energy Engineer, Aaron Schauger, PE, CEM, will be representing the firm at the NY-GEO 2024 Conference hosted by the New York Geothermal Energy Organization on October 21-23, 2024, in Brooklyn, New York.
On Wednesday, October 23rd, at 11:45 a.m., Aaron will moderate a panel discussion titled “High Temperature Heat Pumps for Space Heating.” This session will explore solutions for overcoming the building electrification challenges associated with low-temperature water delivered by water-to-water heat pumps. The discussion will also highlight manufacturers offering electric heat pumps that can achieve the higher temperatures typically reserved for fossil fuel boilers. These high-temperature space heating delivery systems can be left in place as well as potentially provide capacity for domestic hot water.
Joining the discussion as panelists are Chris Devins from Trane, Javier Aleman from Energy Machines, a representative from Oilon, and Sean Jarvie from Flow Technologies.
