Presented by the City of Charlotte Urban Design Center and the University of North Carolina at Charlotte’s David R. Ravin School of Architecture, the Urban Design Awards celebrate great design in Charlotte, North Carolina, and recognize those investing in the City’s future through their design work.

On October 23, 2025, LaBella was proud to accept the 2025 Urban Design Award in the Great Development Near Transit category for The Pass, a mixed-use development in Charlotte’s NoDa neighborhood. The project was nominated by members of Charlotte’s design and development community, with a jury of 10 experts selecting it as award-worthy.

Located on the Charlotte Area Transit System’s light rail, The Pass offers 260,000+ square feet of creative office and retail space, along with upscale multi-family units. The project emphasizes adaptive reuse with a modern spin. Learn more about the project here.
