LaBella’s Rosanne Lubeck, AICP, Principal Transportation Planner, and Douglas Teator, PE, Multi-Modal Planning & Design Group Director, will share their expertise at the 82 Alliance Transportation Conference. Taking place November 9–10, 2026, in Austin, Texas, the conference is hosted by The 82 Alliance, a non-profit mobility think tank dedicated to reimagining how people move through communities.
On Tuesday, November 10, at 8:45 a.m. CST, Rosanne will join a panel discussion titled “Investing in Choices: The Benefits & Impact of Multimodal Projects,” moderated by Doug and featuring fellow panelists Kevin Rockey, RA, Director of Design, and Carrie Frattali, RA, Senior Architect, of Sowinski Sullivan Architects.
The session will examine the measurable return on investment that active multimodal transportation can deliver to local economies, public health, and everyday commuters. Findings from “The Economic Impact of the Empire State Trail,” a comprehensive report produced by Parks & Trails New York, will demonstrate how investments in active infrastructure have increased local business revenue, boosted tourism, and supported economic revitalization in communities across New York State.
Attendees will also learn how thoughtfully designed mobility hubs equipped with key user amenities can make public transportation a more seamless and attractive option for travelers.
