Landfill Equipment Operator Training
Running a safe and efficient landfill starts with skilled equipment operators. LaBella’s Equipment Operator Training program provides hands-on, site-specific instruction designed to improve safety, efficiency, and compaction performance. Our experienced trainers bring decades of field expertise and “yellow iron” know-how, and tailor each training session to your equipment, waste stream, and daily operating conditions.
Working directly with your team, we cover essential practices such as tailgate safety meetings, blade control, daily cover application and removal, progressive filling, proper positioning of compactors and dozers, and strategies to minimize the active working face while increasing compaction density. Whether you’re onboarding new operators or refreshing experienced crews, our goal is to help your team operate more safely and productively.

Health & Safety Training
As consultants, LaBella employees regularly interact with environments that require mastery of health and safety procedures. Our in-house health and safety team is passionate about risk prevention, and share their expertise as training consultants through a wide variety of OSHA standard courses.
If you need HAZWOPER training for yourself or your team, or if construction, asbestos, or lead will be present at your work environment, reach out to us. We teach at our training center or yours, in person or online. If you’re recertifying, we’ll get you on your way with renewed awareness.
