City of Corning Comprehensive Plan Receives New York Planning Federation Award
In April 2026, the New York Planning Federation (NYPF) honored the City of Corning with the Comprehensive Plan Award at the 2026 Annual Conference in Cooperstown, New York.
LaBella assisted the City in updating its comprehensive plan to provide a strategic framework that will guide land use, infrastructure, housing, economic development, government services, and quality of life investments well into the future.
NYPF offers six land use awards annually, each recognizing excellence and achievement in New York State planning and zoning. The Comprehensive Plan Award is presented to a municipality or agency for an outstanding and/or innovative comprehensive plan or plan update adopted by the municipality’s legislative body within the past three years.
