Fior Perez Earns Professional Engineer License

Congratulations to Fior Perez, PE, on earning her Professional Engineer (PE) license!

Fior joined LaBella in 2024 as a Transportation Engineer and is based in our Brooklyn, New York, office. She holds a Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering from the City University of New York and specializes in traffic operations analysis, safety studies, transportation modeling, and technical report preparation.

Throughout her time at LaBella, Fior has contributed to a variety of transportation projects, demonstrating a strong commitment to improving roadway safety and mobility. She has also earned her Road Safety Professional Level 1 (RSP1) certification, further demonstrating her knowledge of foundational road safety principles.

One of Fior’s notable projects includes the redevelopment of Broadway Commons Mall, where she led the design of three new traffic signals and a comprehensive traffic study evaluating more than 30 intersections.

“I have known Fior since her days as an intern, and seeing her grow into a professional engineer is a highlight of my own career,” said Frank A. The PE designation represents a significant achievement in an engineer’s career, demonstrating a high level of competency and commitment to the profession.
