Kelly joined LaBella in 2024 and is based in our Rochester, New York, office. She brings 10 years of experience in commercial interior design to her role as Project Interior Designer. She began her career designing custom furniture and specializing in corporate interiors before expanding her expertise into a variety of markets, including municipal, hospitality, healthcare, K-12, and higher education. Since joining LaBella, she has contributed to a diverse range of projects, including the Monroe Community College Advanced Technology Center, SUNY Broome’s Decker Dental Hygiene program, and improvements at the University at Buffalo’s Talbert Hall.

Beyond her project work, Kelly is an Associate Member of the International Interior Design Association (IIDA) and serves as Co-Director of the IIDA New York Chapter’s Rochester City Center, demonstrating her commitment to professional development and engagement within the interior design community.

She holds a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Interior Design and a minor in Environmental Studies from Rochester Institute of Technology.

The NCIDQ certification is a nationally recognized credential that demonstrates proficiency in interior design principles, building codes, accessibility, and the health, safety, and welfare of building occupants.

“The interiors team is so proud of Kelly for this tremendous accomplishment! Kelly has approached all of her projects with a great deal of care as well as an enthusiastic and curious approach to problem solving. She’s a strong representative of LaBella’s core values—immersing herself in company culture through the Sunshine Committee while advocating for the profession through her work as Co-Director of the IIDA Rochester City Center. Her dedication to the communities she serves and her drive for continual learning no doubt have led to her success in earning her NCIDQ certification. With this milestone behind her strong work ethic and magnetic personality, I am confident she’ll continue to represent LaBella and the interior design profession well. Congratulations Kelly!” – Danielle Lewis, NYS Certified Interior Designer, ALEP, IIDA, WELL AP | Interior Design Leader
