LaBella Congratulates Our Newest Professional Engineer, Jarrod Rizzi, PE!

Please join us in congratulating Jarrod Rizzi, PE, on achieving his professional engineering licensure!

Jarrod’s journey as a civil engineer began in our Poughkeepsie, New York, office long before his full-time employment in 2023. Beginning in 2016, Jarrod shadowed LaBella engineers to learn more about the profession while attending high school. As he attended the University at Buffalo, where he earned a Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering, a Master of Science in Structural and Earthquake Engineering, and a Master of Business Administration, he joined LaBella each summer to apply the principles he was learning and gain real-world experience.

Now with three years of full-time experience, Jarrod primarily focuses on land development projects across various markets including municipal, higher education, residential, and commercial development.

“Jarrod first came to our Poughkeepsie office when he shadowed me for a day as a high school junior in 2016. His ambition and professional character were evident from the moment I met him. He returned to intern with us over several summers before joining our team full-time as a Junior Engineer. His work ethic, technical abilities, and friendly attitude have made him a tremendous asset to our engineering team. I am proud to have watched his skills and career grow while also seeing him become a friend to many here at LaBella.
