LaBella’s Public Venues Studio Leader, Cristian Petschen, and National Director of Design, Brad Bartholomew, AIA, LEED BD+C, will share their expertise at Soccerex Miami 2024, taking place November 13-14, 2024, in Hollywood, Florida.
This year’s conference, expected to draw over 2,000 attendees from around the world, will offer two days of networking, interactive exhibits, and discussions on topics like infrastructure, fan engagement, technology, and the growth of women’s soccer—providing valuable insights into the future of the global game.
On Thursday, November 14th, at 12 p.m., Cristian and Brad will join a panel discussion titled “Building for Success in Modern Stadiums and Multipurpose Football Venues,” alongside Partho Dutta, Senior Principal at Populous; Kevin Vreeland, General Manager at Veridas; and Court Jeske, President of Echo Soccer.
The panel will explore emerging trends in stadium design and fan engagement, with a focus on technology’s role in enhancing security and fan experience. It will also cover the economic, social, and environmental impacts of stadiums and mixed-use venues, factors that attract investors to stadium and soccer club projects, and innovative design concepts that could redefine stadiums in the coming decade.
