LaBella’s Rosanne Lubeck to Present on Empire State Trail Benefits at the 2026 Eastern Pennsylvania Greenways & Trails Summit

Rosanne Lubeck, AICP, Principal Transportation Planner at LaBella, will present at the 2026 Eastern Pennsylvania Greenways & Trails Summit, taking place September 16–18 in Bethlehem, Pennsylvania. Hosted by the Delaware & Lehigh National Heritage Corridor, the three-day event brings together trail, greenway, and community leaders to engage with peers, deepen professional knowledge, and celebrate the region’s trail-focused innovations.

On Wednesday, September 16, at 2:45 p.m., Rosanne will join Dylan Carey, Director of Policy and Planning at Parks & Trails New York, to present “Quantifying Trail Benefits: Economic Impact of the Empire State Trail.” The session will explore how completion of the 750-mile Empire State Trail has benefited New York’s economy, environment, and public health, highlighting key findings from “The Economic Impact of the Empire State Trail,” a comprehensive report produced by Parks & Trails New York.

The trail attracts more than 9 million visits annually, supports billions of dollars in visitor spending, and contributes to significant job creation across the state. Rosanne and Dylan will discuss how communities along the trail are capturing trail-related spending through tourism and infrastructure investments, demonstrating the long-term value of trail development.
