The National Society of Professional Engineers (NSPE) selected the Buffalo Bills New Highmark Stadium as the recipient of the 2026 Construction Project of the Year Award! LaBella was thrilled to accept the award at the NSPE Recognition and Installation Luncheon on August 6, 2026, held in conjunction with NSPECon26 in Brooklyn, New York.
LaBella oversaw site design, permitting, SWPPP inspections, construction administration, and archaeological monitoring throughout the project. The state-of-the-art stadium will welcome the public for the first time Saturday during the annual “Return of the Blue & Red” practice, kicking off a new era that continues with the Bills’ preseason schedule and the 2026 NFL season.
NSPE is the only national organization focused on strengthening the professional engineering community and promoting the professional engineer (PE) license.
The NSPE Construction Project of the Year Award recognizes an outstanding construction project led by a licensed Professional Engineer or engineering team. This award honors projects that demonstrate exceptional application of engineering principles, creativity, and leadership while delivering meaningful benefits to the public, the profession, and the built environment.
Congratulations to the entire project team!
