Reuben Hull Receives Meritorious Service Award From ASCE Mohawk-Hudson Section

LaBella is proud to announce that Associate Vice President and Civil Regional Business Leader Reuben Hull, PE, PMP, M.ASCE, has been honored with the 2026 Meritorious Service Award from the Mohawk-Hudson Section of the American Society of Civil Engineers (ASCE). The award recognizes ASCE members who have demonstrated long-standing dedication and meaningful contributions to the engineering profession, the Society, and the Mohawk-Hudson Section.
A civil engineer by training and historian by avocation, Reuben has uniquely combined technical expertise with a passion for preserving and sharing engineering history through his work with ASCE. He has been an active and dedicated member of ASCE for over 40 years, beginning as a student member in 1985. Reuben has served in numerous leadership roles, including President of both the Mohawk-Hudson Section (2023-2024) and the New Hampshire Section (1999-2000), as well as in various board-level and regional positions.
At the national level, Reuben served more than a decade on ASCE’s History and Heritage Committee, including two years as Committee Chair. During his tenure, he led initiatives to enhance the inventory, documentation, and accessibility of the Historic Civil Engineering Landmark Program, and produced the Erie Canal Symposium commemorating the landmark’s 200th anniversary. He has also authored over 100 ASCE History and Heritage articles as part of the “Civil Engineering Almanac” series and presented at ASCE national conventions.
Alongside his involvement with ASCE, Reuben has more than 30 years of experience in the engineering consulting industry, having led and participated in more than 1,000 infrastructure, building, and facility projects across the Northeast.
