Brad Bartholomew
National Design DirectorI am honored to be entrusted with my new role as National Design Director to help create opportunities for the firm’s growth in design. Innovation and creative design are only possible when an organization fosters a supportive environment. I’m excited that this role will allow me to use my background focused on transformational design to dedicate the time and resources to building this environment for all LaBella designers and our clients. We approach design with zero ego and place our sole focus on helping our clients. Design excellence transforms the way our clients do business and becomes one of the most effective ways to win new and exciting projects.
With more than 25 years of experience in design and construction, Brad’s diverse body of work includes civic, commercial, hospitality, retail, residential, and workplace commissions that have garnered regional, national, and international attention. This experience has helped form his expertise in design and the ability to bring meaningful architecture into reality.
After graduating from Syracuse University, Brad spent much of his career at international design firms in Boston and New York City. He’s worked on local, regional, national, and international projects in places like Asia, the Middle East, South America, and throughout North America, including the US. In doing so, he’s worked for top-level cultural institutions, thriving cities, elite high academic institutions, and professional sports teams.
As National Design Director, Brad’s expertise is put to work as a driving force behind LaBella’s reputation as a top-tier design firm. Brad currently resides in Charlotte, NC, but spends time each week in all of our offices working with and mentoring our growing design studios. Additionally, he works with our teams to create transformational design ideas that are focused on meeting the goals and objectives of our many great clients. When he’s not working, you will probably find him at a field with his wife and his four sons, watching them compete in whatever sport is in season!
