Bridges

Bridges play a key role in connecting people and places – cultivating partnerships that build stronger communities.

Successful bridge projects do not merely provide safe crossing—they minimize impact to the environment, the public, and the taxpayer. We keep public and private roads high and dry, from small, single-span structures to complex multi-span bridges on the interstate system.

Our engineers are equally adept at working with small municipalities on innovative rehabilitation as they are at completing full highway interchanges under heavy traffic conditions. Our practice has encompassed historic truss bridges, changeable rivers, and pedestrian thoroughfares.

Built in 1988, the Driving Park Bridge is a 705-foot-long, multi-span structure with a 488-foot steel arch main span over the Genesee River gorge.
The historic Pont de Rennes bridge is a 858-foot-long, 9-span, steel deck truss bridge was constructed in 1898 and converted into a pedestrian bridge in 1980.
Located in Monroe County, the Swamp Road Bridge over Salmon Creek is a 28-foot-span, precast concrete, rigid-frame "Con-span" structure founded on rock.
