Fueling Compliance for Critical Care
LaBella provides ongoing petroleum bulk storage (PBS) compliance services to a large regional healthcare system, overseeing 12 underground and 32 aboveground petroleum storage tanks across six regional hospital facilities.
Services provided include:
- Conducting annual tank inspections and testing to verify and maintain compliance with United States Environmental Protection Agency and New York State Department of Environmental Conservation (NYSDEC) code requirements
- Providing compliance training to the facilities’ tank operators
- Assisting with PBS regulatory compliance inspections
- Performing fueling system repairs and upgrades as needed to maintain code compliance
In addition to these services, LaBella removed three aging underground fuel storage tank systems and designed and installed one new underground storage tank system, one new aboveground storage tank system, and five new E-generator day tank systems.
Throughout the contract period, LaBella maintains close coordination with tank operators and regularly consults with NYSDEC representatives to meet all PBS compliance requirements.
LaBella continues to provide technical fueling system inspections, repairs, and related services to the client, ensuring reliable operation and ongoing compliance of the regional hospital facilities’ critical care infrastructure.
