LaBella developed innovative concept designs for a new stadium and mixed-use development for the Tampa Bay Rays, aiming to create a premier destination for baseball and community engagement.
The proposed design features an open-air ballpark complemented by a cantilevered roof canopy that provides shade for all seats, enhancing comfort during games. Additionally, the in-seat cooling system is designed to maintain a reasonable level of fan comfort, even on warm days.
A key feature of the stadium is its natural turf system, engineered to quickly drain the field, minimizing downtime between events and ensuring optimal playing conditions. The mixed-use development surrounding the stadium will enhance the overall experience, integrating retail, dining, and entertainment options to create a vibrant community hub.
