Urgent Care and Imaging in a Neighborhood Setting
Driven by growth in Lexington County, South Carolina, Lexington Medical Center commissioned the new Saluda Pointe Urgent Care & Imaging Center on newly annexed property adjacent to Interstate 20 in Lexington, SC.
LaBella provided planning, design, and construction administration for the 23,000-square-foot facility, which houses urgent care services, including 21 exam rooms and two treatment rooms, as well as a comprehensive imaging suite featuring MRI, CT, X-ray, and ultrasound. Support spaces include on-site labs, a pharmacy, registration, and administrative spaces.
Designed to support patient- and family-centered care in an accessible neighborhood setting, the Imaging Center allows for future expansion, including a second MRI.
The facility was completed ahead of schedule and under budget, with fewer than 1% change orders.
LaBella also designed a partial reconfiguration preceding the addition of a new PET/CT suite.
