Kaelyn Davis

Mid-Atlantic Regional Director

LaBella has shown me that when you invest in people, encourage innovation, and support them in pursuing their passions, there are no limits to what can be achieved. The leadership development opportunities I’ve experienced have helped me grow as a leader, mentor, and professional, and I hope to have that same positive impact on others as they build their own careers.

Kaelyn is a Professional Wetland Scientist with 15 years of environmental consulting and permitting experience in the public and private sectors. Her technical background includes environmental compliance, NEPA studies, due diligence, wetland delineations, stormwater management, and permitting for complex infrastructure and development projects.

Since joining LaBella in 2021, Kaelyn has helped establish and grow the firm’s presence, beginning by leading environmental services in Virginia before becoming Southeast Environmental Regional Manager and Associate Vice President and, more recently, Mid-Atlantic Regional Director.

In her current role, Kaelyn drives strategic growth throughout the Mid-Atlantic by bringing together expertise across disciplines, strengthening client relationships, and positioning LaBella as a full-service partner in the region. She also mentors employees, helping them build technical knowledge, confidence, and professional judgment.

Kaelyn holds Bachelor of Science degrees in Biology/Microbiology and Environmental Science from Longwood University and Virginia Commonwealth University (VCU), respectively, as well as a Master of Science degree in Environmental Studies with a focus on Toxicology from VCU. She serves as Environmental Chair for ACEC Virginia and is a member of the CREW Richmond Board of Directors. Kaelyn lives in Midlothian, Virginia, with her husband, two daughters, and dog. Outside of work, she enjoys fitness, exploring the outdoors with her children, and volunteering through her church, children’s schools, and Capital Trees.
